Hugging has not quite gone the way of the dodo bird in the COVID pandemic, but there's less human contact overall.
Which might be a good thing in the eyes of Emily Flake. She joined us a few years ago to chat about her book on hugs that surprise and displease and just creep people out, That Was Awkward: The Art and Etiquette of the Awkward Hug.
Flake wrote the text and drew the pictures; she gets cartoons published regularly in the The New Yorker.
We get a second pass at her interview.
