Anti-racism activists ask 'What's Up With White Women?'

Racism continues in our society, despite some people's best efforts. Which probably indicates we need more people's best efforts, and not just non-racist, but anti-racist.

Tilman Smith and Ilsa Govan, a pair of white women, weigh in with their view, in a book called What's Up with White Women? Unpacking Sexism and White Privilege in Pursuit of Racial Justice.

The authors are activists and educators who help people figure out where they come from, in the hope of moving into a better place to block racism and other "isms" that devalue and degrade people.

Both authors join us with an overview of their work and the concepts in their book.
