Gateway transitional housing project in Talent houses fire-displaced families

Demand, supply, and opportunity meet in the city of Talent.

The need is housing after the Almeda Drive fire burned up hundreds of homes in town.

The supply is a chunk of currently-vacant land intended for the city's Gateway Project.

And the opportunity is to use the property to provide temporary housing for some of the families displaced in the fire.

Displaced families will begin moving in to 53 RV trailers very soon. We bring in some of the project principals to talk about what happens now, and the vision for moving the families into permanent homes down the road.
