As usual, the latest news about COVID-19 in Oregon is mixed.
Statewide and in Jackson County infections are down and vaccinations are up, but then there are complicating factors, like the infections that appear to trace back to the Pendleton Round-Up in September.
Vaccine mandates coming online are part of the picture now, too.
Dr. Jim Shames, Jackson County Medical Director, is back to weekly Q&A sessions, as long as the danger remains high.
Kerri Schuette from Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency also joins in the discussion.
