The fires of September 2020 feel simultaneously like a long time ago and very recent. Their impacts are certainly still being felt, as people scramble to find affordable housing in a region that lost thousands of units.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency, FEMA, is just one of many agencies, government and not, working to get people back into housing they can afford. FEMA has already set up manufactured homes--"FEMA trailers"--at several sites in fire zones.

More remains to be done, and we get an update from Paul Corah, based in the Oregon FEMA office.
