California Aims For Buildings With No Fossil-Fuel Use

California continues to push the envelope on reducing the dependence on fossil fuels in the state.

The California Energy Commission just adopted an energy code designed to make more buildings completely electric, with no fossil fuel use onsite.

The move is celebrated by the Natural Resources Defense Council. NRDC Senior Scientist Pierre Delforge, an expert on building "decarbonization," visits with details on the changes and the schedule for their implementation.
