Rogue Valley residents are moving into homes rebuilt since the Almeda Drive fire of September 2020.
So far, most of the new homes are built of the same materials to the ones being replaced: wood.
But other options exist, and are being explored at the Climate Change Adaptation Center at the University of California-Davis.
