The federal eviction moratorium got another extension, to the end of July. That at least postpones a sudden flood of people onto the streets, but it does not solve some systemic problems with Americans and their dwellings.
Housing simply costs too much relative to income in too much of the country. It's an issue monitored closely by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
RWJF is primarily about health, but decent housing is obviously a major component of health.
