It's not JUST a concert, and it's not really a hike, either. But those activities are combined when the Britt Festival Orchestra returns to Jacksonville for "Brush: Music in the Woodlands."
It's similar to the outdoor concert BFO held a few years ago at Crater Lake. But where that concert put all the musicians and listeners in one place, this event spreads the music out along the extensive trails of the Jacksonville Woodlands, in multiple concerts July 30-August 2.
Caroline Shaw composed the piece for Britt and Teddy Abrams, BFO conductor, will run the show.
Abrams and Shaw visit to talk about their vision.
