When the going gets tough, the tough get online. Or something like that; the pandemic has forced teachers to be creative in a whole new variety of ways, in order to keep young minds stimulated when in-person contact was rare.
Oregon just announced its Regional Teacher of the Year winners, and Grants Pass is in there again. Last year it was Jordan Werner, this year it's Lois MacMillan, a social studies teacher at Grants Pass High School.
We pull her out of class for a little while to learn more about her teaching philosophy and approach.
