Ashland Students Share Their National-Finalist Podcast

florantevaldez/Pixabay
The complete podcast, with no break

Let's get the disappointment out first: the Ashland High School podcast did not win. But it was a finalist in NPR's Student Podcast Challenge, with a new episode of "Tea, Toast, and Truth" called "To Be or Not to Be?"

If you guessed Shakespeare, you're correct: the dozen students involved with the podcast examined the impact on Ashland of having the Oregon Shakespeare Festival closed by the pandemic... for a year and a half, at least.

We round up some of the students; Anya Moore, Isadora Millay, and Kena Robertshaw, and advisor Shane Abrams, to not only talk about the podcast, but to listen to the entire thing.
