There are no words. The Oscar-winning animated short "If Anything Happens I Love You" features no speaking, just a couple grieving the loss of a child in a school shooting.

Will McCormack and Michael Govier co-wrote and co-directed the film, hiring a team of female animators to tell the visual story.

Michael Govier is from the Redding area originally and an alumnus of the University of Oregon; he talks to us about the movie, the message, and what is possible for him now, with Oscar in hand.
