Never a dull moment in media-land. Do you "doom-scroll," flipping your finger on your phone through the latest news of doom and gloom in the world?

We examine the media landscape monthly, in a segment we call Signals & Noise. Our regulars discuss the hot topics: Chris Lucas from the Southern Oregon University Communication faculty, and Humboldt State University Journalism Chair Victoria Sama.

It's not all about politics in the media (though we could spend hours on that). Join us for a discussion that can include topics as disparate as virtual reality cinema and the best Jane Austen books.
