Ashland Film Festival Features Actors At The End

"Me to Play" Facebook page

Actors work hard to commit mind and body to a role. So it's a painful betrayal when the body or mind no longer cooperate, as with Parkinson's disease.

Two aging actors with the disease are the focus of the documentary "Me To Play," coming to the online Ashland Independent Film Festival starting Saturday (April 17th). The actors finish their careers with a challenging piece from Samuel Beckett, "Endgame."

We get a synopsis and analysis of the film from director Jim Berkfield, AIFF Artistic Director Richard Herskowitz, and Oregon Shakespeare Festival Associate Artistic Director Evren Odcikin.
