Hope is rising that the arts community can resume its activities in the near future. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival announced plans for a live theater season sometime in the fall (dates unspecified), Oregon Cabaret Theater returned to live shows in February, and COVID-19 case numbers continue to drop.
We celebrate--cautiously--with the return of our First Friday Arts segment. We fling open the phone lines at 800-838-3760 and see who calls. Some months the calls run to double-digits; that has not been the case for a while now.
