A manufactured home in Medford barely survived the Almeda Fire, but it took some damage.

Amid the rubble, signs of restoration: frames for new houses are sprouting up in some of the neighborhoods destroyed in the September fires in the region. The rebuilding work goes on while the work of clearing away the remains of homes and vehicles continues.

Listen for a progress report on post-fire restoration.
