Our culture seems simultaneously sex-obsessed and prudish. And that might explain why we still seem to know very little about sexually transmitted diseases, STDs.

And it really would help us to have a better understanding of what lurks in our pants... if that's actually where STDs lurk. Physician and medical school teacher Dr. Ina Park aims to educate and even entertain with her new book Strange Bedfellows: Adventures in the Science, History, and Surprising Secrets of STDs.

No blushing is required; the doctor brings a healthy dose of humor with the education. She visits the JX to give us the down and dirty on diseases spread by sex.
