Steve Leder thinks about life and death a lot. That's the basic essence of his job as a rabbi at a big temple in Los Angeles.

Rabbi Leder also writes essays and books, including one about how to be rich without losing your soul. His latest work is about death and how it can make us appreciate life more, a perspective he has gained from years of grief counseling and eulogies.

The book is The Beauty of What Remains: How Our Greatest Fear Becomes Our Greatest Gift. The author joins us for an overview of a very big topic.
