Viewing Education As A Lifelong Journey
Our kids can wear us out when they're young, with their constant questions about the world they are growing to know. "Why?" can be asked an infinite number of times, it seems.
Dr. Jeff Goldstein will probably counsel us to answer the question as best we can, as often as we can. Goldstein, who works at the National Center for Earth and Space Education, sees learning as a journey, not a book of knowledge that is opened and closed.
He gives a lecture through Southwestern Oregon Community College this weekend, and visits us with an advance sample.
