The concept of a healthy community may be a bit different during the pandemic from what it was in "normal" times. It's not just that people want a healthy community in the medical sense, they also want to live in places that are a pleasure to live in, places where their children and even grandchildren might want to move or stay.
Quint Studer, a community revitalization expert, says such communities don't just happen, they have to be built. He gives lessons in how in the book Building a Vibrant Community.
