Thoughts From Our Region On The U.S. Capitol Attack

Public Domain, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=41977481

"A day which will live in infamy," at least one member of Congress calls January 6, 2021. It will take a while for the full impact of the Trumpist physical assault on the U.S. Capitol to be known and absorbed.

JPR News visited with members of Congress from both sides of the state line, soon after they were forced to flee from the House and Senate chambers. We offer up our interviews with Jeff Merkley, Jared Huffman, and Cliff Bentz in a special hour of The Exchange.

And we offer our listeners a chance to air their own thoughts on the violence and destruction that disrupted the counting of Electoral College votes. Call 800-838-3760 or email JX@jeffnet.org.
