Where psilocybin comes from.

Oregon is going where no state has gone before, allowing the use of hallucinogenic psilocybin for mental therapy. Voters approved Ballot Measure 109 in November, put "magic mushrooms" into the mix of things licensed therapists can use with clients.

The measure comes with plenty of regulation, and calls for the creation of a Psilocybin Advisory Board. The board is seeking members for the board, and the deadline is coming up fast, January 1st, 2021.

Andre Ourso at the Oregon Health Authority visits with news of the board, its members, and what lies ahead as the measure becomes law.
