The Lava Beds National Monument south of Tulelake already looks like a place that's been burned. Last summer, a real fire swept through after a series of lightning strikes ignited dry vegetation in late July.
Archaeologists are looking the place over, to see what the fire revealed. We get an overview in this month's edition of Underground History, with Chelsea Rose of the Southern Oregon University Laboratory of Anthropology.
