The federal Environmental Protection Agency recently began cleaning up properties burned in the Almeda Drive Fire.

And EPA also started a hotline for people who lost property in the fire, 541-225-5549. The dedicated phone number is meant to both provide and take information that can help speed the cleanup, critical to getting to the next phase: rebuilding.

There is also a website, EPA Story Map, to document the process.

Bill Dunbar is a public affairs specialist with EPA, and our guest. He reminded Oregon fire victims to stay updated at the state Wildfire website.
