A simple mistake--leaving off a signature, for example--can lead to a ballot not being counted in Oregon's all-mail voting system.

The risks rise for people with disabilities, and Disability Rights Oregon is determined to help people get their ballots filled out and completed correctly. Accommodations include large-print ballots, and the right to have someone assist with ballot preparation.

Tom Stenson, DRO's Deputy Legal Director, adds details to the options.

And there's a number to call for further help: Disability Rights Oregon voting hotline at 888-339-VOTE (8683).
