"Do I make you laugh?" The line, or its approximate, from Joe Pesci in the 1990 movie "Goodfellas" has been endlessly repeated and imitated over the years.

Martin Scorsese struck gold directing the story of mobsters, with the help of actors like Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta, and Pesci. Film critic Glenn Kenny marks the 30th anniversary of the films release with the book "Made Men: The Story of Goodfellas."

The book features interviews with De Niro and Scorsese and more. We interview the interviewer.
