COVID-19 is like an alien spaceship from a movie, the kind that blots out the sky and forces us to focus only on it.

But other concerns have not gone away, global warming among them. That is the domain of the Oregon Global Warming Commission, residing online at the aptly named KeepOregonCool.org.

The commission has been around for more than a decade, tracking climate change in Oregon and reporting back to the public and the legislature. The next biennial report to the legislature is in the works; OGWC Chair Catherine Macdonald, from The Nature Conservancy, delivers an update.
