We used to talk to Josh Gross about "sweaty dance parties." Those will return, we are confident, but they are a very bad idea in the time of COVID-19.

Josh, a musician, music writer, and music lover, visited once a month to talk up bands playing gigs in the region. No gigs, no Rogue Sounds segment for a while now.

But we've invited him back with an update on the music scene in the region, such as it is, and some efforts to make live music available in ways that won't get anyone infected.

One example: Southern Oregon Historical Society's "Cars Under the Stars" event on August 28th. Alice Mullaly from SOHS visits with details.
