We will emerge from the pandemic changed.

The trick is to make sure we are changed for the better, the overriding goal of an Ashland-born effort called Communities Are Stronger Together, or CAST. CAST celebrates efforts to meet the needs of the people in the community, when needs are greater and resources are lesser.

Our focus points in this round: Ashland Food Co-op, which recently scattered thousands of dollars in the community; the Ashland chapter of OLLI, the senior education program; and the Maslow Project, looking after the needs of homeless children and teens in the Medford area.

Guests are Julie O'Dwyer from AFC, Larry Hunter from OLLI, and Mary Ferrell from Maslow.
