New RV Media Outlet: 'Counterbound'
There are many issues of concern in our place and time, and fewer people covering those issues. Traditional media have been hit hard by economic pressures, even before the COVID-19 pandemic.
So rural media outlets are rare; rarer still is the rural outlet that appeals to an activist constituency. That is the target audience of Counterbound, a print and online magazine for writers and artists to publish essays, poetry, and visual art.
Theo Whitcomb and Sam Becker, editors of Counterbound, join us with their story, accompanied by visual artist and editor Trevor Warren.
