Why And How: Our Gardening Questions Answered

Salad greens growing in a backyard garden in Southeast Portland.

You're home more, there's a patch of dirt out there... why NOT make a garden? It's not too late for this year, and plenty of people are keeping gardens for the first time during the pandemic.

Lynn Kunstman of the Jackson County Master Gardeners Association visits once a week to talk about the many things we need to know to grow flowers, fruits, or anything green. Join us with your questions about keeping your growing things growing right.

As an alternative, here are links to the Master Gardener Plant Clinic and, for California listeners, the UC-Davis Master Gardener program.

Here's Lynn's online presentation on Bringing Nature into our Gardens and Yards, recorded Tuesday, July 14th.

Additional links: Lynn talked about plants that attract insects; Oregon State University offers documents on this subject area.

And a couple of PDF attachments to peruse...
