Applegate Valley's Bear Grub Timber Sale: Industry View

The days when public lands provided huge trees to the timber industry are largely over in our part of the world.  But the Bureau of Land Management is proceeding with the Bear Grub timber sale in the Applegate Valley, a project that will remove a few large trees. 

We recently heard from opponents in the Applegate Neighborhood Network. 

Here we get the industry side from the American Forest Resource Council.  AFRC forester Amanda Astor talks about Bear Grub from the perspective of her group.
