They had to work hard to get elected, but new Oregon legislators face plenty more work once they take office. Rep.-elect Kim Wallan of Medford and Sen.-elect Jeff Golden of Ashland take their respective oaths of office on January 14th. Wallan will be in a Republican minority in the house, while Golden will be in a Democratic majority in the senate, and chair a committee on campaign finance reform. The two legislators-to-be visit before they depart for Salem.
