Adopted Children "Carried In Our Hearts"

Tarcher/Penguin

There are many reasons people adopt children, and many adoptions are now overseas ones.

Dr. Jane Aronson is a pediatrician who specializes in adoption; she founded the Worldwide Orphans Foundation.

Aronson shares some of the many stories of overseas adoptions--stories of children not carried in the womb by their current parents-- in the book Carried in Our Hearts / The Gift of Adoption: Inspiring Stories of Families Created Across Continents.
