Keeping You Connected ... As We Stay Apart

This is the time of year we would normally be asking listeners to support our work during our Spring Fund Drive.  But, in order to protect the health of our staff, volunteers and the community during the public health crisis that is impacting the world, we’ve postponed our traditional on-air drive.

We recognize that the vital work we do each day to keep you connected is more important than ever -- and we want you to know that we’re here for you -- providing the essential information you need.

To accomplish this work, we’re asking for your help.  We’re holding a virtual fund drive during April, airing simple announcements from members of the JPR staff in designated program breaks asking listeners to contribute online.

Please take a moment to support the news you need and the music and cultural programs that enrich your life through this difficult time. Consider becoming a sustaining member via small monthly contributions, which helps us even more.  Thank you -- your support infuses our entire organization with the resources we need to serve you in the months ahead.

Paul Westhelle oversees management of JPR's service to the community.  He came to JPR in 1990 as Associate Director of Broadcasting for Marketing and Development after holding jobs in non-profit management and fundraising for a national health agency. He's a graduate of San Jose State University's School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
Congress and the President have spoken. While this is a devastating result, JPR's commitment to its mission and values and our resolve to achieve them remain stronger than ever. Together with NPR, we’ll continue to bring you rigorous journalism, local news, courageous storytelling, and inspired music – every day. Help us increase listener support by 25% to make up for lost federal funding.
