he Rogue Valley Growers & Crafters Market kicks off its 37th outdoor season and returns to Medford on March 7 at Hawthorne Park, 501 E. Main, from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., continuing weekly until November 21. Farmers’ market enthusiasts can anticipate the return of their favorite vendors and the introduction of new, carefully selected merchants, ensuring a diverse offering of farm-fresh produce, handcrafted delights, artisan foods, and more.
Bring your food-scraps to the Thursday Grower’s Market at Hawthorne Park, in Medford. We’ll collect and transport them to your favorite local farms to utilize as compost!

Cathe Williams, organizer, along with other interested people, will be presenting a Mental Health Wellness Fair on Thursday, May 16rh in the community hall at St. Mark's Episcopal Church (Parish). Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The goal of this event is to put resources into the hands of people who otherwise would be unaware of them or need help accessing these important tools.
The focus of this resource fair is to place emphasis on the power of wellness in people's everyday lives.
We have put together multiple businesses and organizations who believe recovery is possible with the help of wellness resources, thereby contributing to their overall well-being.
We hope to pass this information on to the community members and look forward to seeing them there. This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the YMCA lot directly across the street from the church -on a first-come, first-service basis. Adequate street parking is also available. St. Mark's is handicap accessible.
Southern Oregon University’s Schneider Museum of Art (SMA) is thrilled to announce its upcoming exhibition, "Moving Pictures: A Survey Exhibition of Works by Deborah Oropallo and Collaborators." Opening April 18 at 5 p.m., the exhibition invites art enthusiasts to delve into the captivating world of Deborah Oropallo and witness her artistic evolution spanning montage, sculpture, installation, and media work.
More than just a retrospective, "Moving Pictures" amplifies Oropallo's artistic journey, shedding light on her significant contributions to contemporary art. Born in Hackensack, New Jersey in 1954, Oropallo received her BFA from Alfred University and her MA/MFA from the University of California at Berkeley. Initially trained as a painter, she seamlessly integrates mixed media techniques such as photomontage, video, printmaking, and painting into her practice.
