Your Last Hurrah: Death and Funeral Ceremonies and Rituals

We all have a longing and need for making meaning in our lives around death and funerals. This is a deeply personal and individual process that reflects the elements that have shaped our lives. While some feel supported by long-held and practiced religious and spiritual traditions, others want to create something entirely out of the box. Guiding our own rituals and ceremonies give us the opportunity to make meaning and engage in ceremony in a way that is in alignment with how we view the world and our place in it. INSTRUCTOR: Mary Ann Perry is a certified home funeral guide, green burial educator and serves as the Sexton at The Forest Conservation Burial Ground at Willow-Witt Ranch. She has been serving the community with end of life education for over 6 years
