Empower Your Voice: Women’s Leadership Connection Launches Speaker Training Program
Medford, OR – The Women’s Leadership Connection (WLC) is thrilled to announce the launch of its new Speaker Training Program—a dynamic course designed to empower women in Southern Oregon to become stronger public speakers and communicators.
Are you ready to be a stronger speaker? If you've ever found yourself holding back from speaking up at work, longing to perfect your presentations, or dreaming of stepping onto the stage at conferences, this program is tailored just for you.
Course Overview:
The WLC Speaker Training Program is structured into four comprehensive weekly sessions, with two additional optional sessions for those aiming to advance to a professional level. Participants will learn to:
Develop Your Big Idea: Transform your passions into compelling, audience-captivating presentations.
Draft Your Outline: Craft a polished, effective keynote or breakout session with expert feedback.
Master Delivery Techniques: Engage in improvisation and theater games to build confidence and overcome stage fright.
Rehearse and Refine: Present your ideas to a small, supportive audience, gaining valuable practice and feedback.
Be Conference Ready: Learn the professional techniques needed to excel at conferences, from managing AV equipment to creating impactful handouts (optional add-on module).
Going Pro: Prepare to take your speaking career to the next level with marketing and messaging strategies (optional add-on module).
WLC Instructors:
Libby Gill: A professional speaker and award-winning author with a global portfolio, including clients like Amazon, Microsoft, and Warner Bros.
Julie Gillis: A seasoned non-profit development professional and artist with expertise in transformational storytelling and philanthropic events.
Tammy Ryan: The WLC Conference Director with extensive experience in selecting top-tier speakers for keynotes and breakout sessions.
Program Details:
Dates: September 30, October 7, October 14, October 21 (with optional modules on October 28 and November 4)
Time: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Rogue Credit Union, 2125 S Pacific Hwy, Medford, OR
Cost: $140 for the 4-module program, $195 for the 6-module program

Scholarships Available:
