By popular demand, after this seven-man band's "raucous" PAS show in January, Soul Punch returns for a summer fling. Come join us! It's fun and easy — just bring your dancing shoes... and your love of soul music.

Soul Punch is a determined collective bringing a new era of groove and funk music to Northern California. When multiple Redding musicians moved back to town after many years in various musical Meccas, they found themselves without a local funk scene — so they started it themselves.

While at its core, Soul Punch is a modern party band, its undertones hearken back to the funk/soul and jazz bands of the past. The band's deep grooves, blistering solos and dense harmonies stay true to the funk genre, but also draw from the '60s, '70s and modern-day stylings.
