The Southern Oregon Historical Society and Southern Oregon University Laboratory of Anthropology, in partnership with the Oregon Chinese Diaspora Project, hosts their second annual “Archaeology Night” at Hanley Farm.

Learn how to think like an archaeologist with Archaeology 101 activities like survey pacing, cross-mending, and stratigraphy. Experience the ancient art of atlatl throwing, view the Jim Rock Historic Bottle and Can Collection, participate in the History Scavenger Hunt, tour the historic Hanley House, learn about the archaeology of Hanley Farm, and . . . much, much more!!!
