PAS presents: "Magical Mixed Timbres: Li-Yuan Ho & Friends” on September 9th, 2022. The collaboration of different instrumental families has long been the foundation of symphonic music. This concert explores a broad palette of mixed timbres among voice, strings, winds, brass, and piano in small ensemble settings from trios to septets. Works ranging from Beethoven, Fauré, Saint-Saens, and Dubois, to Rimsky-Korsakov and Massenet, will highlight the fabulous timbres of mixed instruments.
