Bugs-R-Us naturalists and educators John & Will Jackson will share how owls fit in the environment and the part they play in the food-web cycle. Adults and kids, aged 6+ with parent will get "hands-on" learning with real owl pellets. You will get to play detective with latex gloves, tweezers and magnifying glasses to find out what the owls have eaten. The program includes hands-on time with a taxidermy barn-owl and special training on owl calls. Class members get to keep what ever or whomever they find inside the pellets. Adults accompanying youth are free. Ages 6+ (must be accompanied by an adult).
