Mendocino Art Center’s “Earth, Fire and Ash”

Mendocino Art Center’s “Earth, Fire and Ash”

“Earth, Fire and Ash,” which will be presented in two chapters, is a celebration of woodfired ceramics showcasing the growing community of woodfired ceramic artists in the Mendocino area.

Chapter one, September 30-November 17, focuses on four kilns in the area with several pieces from each kiln from nine artists.

Chapter two, November 25-December 30, features work straight out of the kilns fired in Mendocino during the Art Center’s November Second Saturday reception and in other participating kilns during the fall.
