Jacksonville Haunted History Walking Tour
Jacksonville Haunted History Walking Tour
On Friday, June 13th, the “ghoulies, and ghosties, and long-legged beasties” are back — plus brothels, epidemics, hangings, murder, arson, saloons, and haunted houses! Join Historic Jacksonville, Inc. for a guided Haunted History walking tour and learn about the ghosts that linger in Jacksonville’s National Historic Landmark District. You’ll also learn a little history about the buildings, their occupants, and life in a gold rush town!
Tours leave from the Jacksonville Visitors Center at the corner of North Oregon and C streets and last about 1 hour. Choose from 2 different tours. The flat 7:15 pm Courthouse route features brothels, epidemics, and hangings. The 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm Britt Hill tours highlight murder, arson, saloons, Oregon’s oldest Chinatown, and 2 of the most haunted houses in town (altho both tours have lots of haunted houses).
Friday the 13th could be your “lucky” day when you join us for a very spirited evening!
