The Jacksonville Garden Club’s annual Spring Sale will be held on Saturday, May 13th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. near the Post Office on Oregon Street in downtown Jacksonville. Club members create beautiful arrangements from fresh-cut spring flowers in a range of prices—for Mother’s Day or a nice gift to yourself or a friend. Potted plants, spring starts, lovely cards and crafts will also be available for purchase. And back again this year are homemade baked goods and treats made by Club members. Money raised provides scholarships to local young people and also supports beautification projects at the Peter Britt Garden, the Jacksonville Post Office, the Jacksonville Community Center, and Scheffel-Thurston Park.
