She observes how easily we mistake certainty for wisdom, and how, in politics, our convictions can become the very thing that blocks true understanding. In 2017, she founded Building Bridgers to address political polarization. Through her work, she teaches skills and habits of mind that help people overcome barriers to understanding, recognize the validity in opposing views, and approach complex problems with openness.
