Heather Mae

Heather Mae

The 10th Annual Zero to Fierce Festival Presents: Heather Mae
Evocative Bliss-Mongering Rabble Rouser

Heather Mae’s live show is a fully embodied exploration of connection, identity, healing, and song. With unflinching confidence and generous warmth, Mae invites audiences into difficult and tender conversations, gently circling old wounds and applying laughter where it’s needed most. The justice-warring, sparkle-wielding feminist provocateur quickly becomes something else entirely: a trusted guide, a friend, a steady presence leading the room through vulnerability with care and grace.

A powerhouse in the modern folk tradition, Mae pairs an unapologetic, gymnastic voice with impeccable showmanship and razor-sharp storytelling. Equal parts comic, confidant, and conductor, she creates a rare sense of ease—one that dissolves time and forges memory. What emerges is deep-belly laughter, shared wisdom, and bold, bright love: a cozy lightning strike of joy, resilience, queerness, and home.
