The South Coast Folk Society is hosting a special event, a variety show and fundraiser, at the Dolphin Playhouse in Coos Bay on Friday evening, September 20th starting at 6:15 with sumptuous hors d’oeuvres and free spirits. This special event is called “Harmony in Motion: A Variety Show”
The evening promises to be a highlight of our local cultural calendar, bringing together talented performers and community members for an evening of vibrant music, lively dancing, and beautiful singing, with an emphasis on joyful entertainment and community goodwill. More than just a showcase of talent, this event serves a vital purpose in supporting ongoing initiatives to promote traditional music and dance, and arts in our region. In addition to the fine food and beverages, and the delightful performances, there will be a raffle and silent auction made possible by the generous support of many local businesses. Doors open at 6:15 for refreshments, auction and raffle. The show begins at 7:00. The Dolphin Playhouse is located at 520 Newmark in Empire. Admission is $10., $8 for seniors.
