Abacela Vineyards and Winery CEO Dr. Greg Jones will speak about "Climate and Wine: Trends and Influences on Sustainable Wine Production," Thursday, April 13, as part of the Friends of Hannon Library Speaker Series for the 2022-23 academic year. In his talk, Dr. Jones will offer an overview of regional to global research on aspects of terroir that influence quality and production characteristics of wine grapes, the suitability of different wine grapes to different climates, and how climate variability and climate change impact the global wine region map.
