Farming Sustainably at SOU: A SOCAN Field Trip

Farming Sustainably at SOU: A SOCAN Field Trip

Sustainable living simple means managing our resources today such that current generations can benefit but not such that we compromise the ability of future generations also to benefit. In a climate changing world, sustainable living includes farming sustainably. To learn how the Southern Oregon University farm meets the university’s goal of promoting sustainability, SOCAN’s August monthly meeting will be a field trip to the farm at 155 Walker Avenue, Ashland to explore how its operation serves that goal. Parking is available at Scienceworks Hands On Museum; meet at the bear.
Participation is free and open to the public.
